Teacher education, at preservice and inservice levels, has evolved through the development and implementation of partnerships. Just as with other aspects of society, we live, work, and learn in a rapidly evolving, ever-connected, diverse digital community.  To work together we need to understand the roles of all partners.  ATE has promoted an operational definition of the roles of all teacher educators.
