Presentation Phase - Know/Testimony

​

1) Invite each family member to share what they learned in their classes on Sunday from Moses 1 (Do It, Our Work and Father's Work, Do Not Be Deceived)

 

2) Review the FHE assignment from last week (Jigsaw activity - each member of the family was given a different talk for which they would be responsible for teaching the key points to the family)

Proclaim the Gospel (Mormon 9:22)- Various - Article for a Child (12-14)

Practice Pure Religion (James 1:27)  - Sister Linda K. Burton - Article for an Adult

3) Invite each family member to take 5-7 minutes to share what they learned from their talk. Encourage them to share their testimonies about how these messages changed their hearts.

 

4) While family members are sharing what they learned everyone else can take notes on important ideas they learned and impressions they received from the spirit. Invite someone from the family to write the key ideas and impressions on: chart paper, apple tv, white board, etc.

5) Next, watch the video "My Work and My Glory - Hastening the Work" and discuss important ideas each family member learned and impressions they received from the spirit while watching. Explore the church's Volunteer Time and Talent website for options as well.

Practice Phase - Do/Conversion

​

1) Set a new monthly goal as a family for each of the four areas of focus using the hand-out provided.
