Suggestions For Improvement

Honestly, I believe that the church has done an extraordinary job in this department, especially over the last decade. The innovative usage of the internet and social media to promote the global mission of the church has been unprecedented. As members of the church we have access to more information, and are more connected than ever before. It's such a testament to the fact that this is indeed the Lord's church and that He is without question, Hastening His work. With that said, a few things that could be considered:
Considerations

1) Include more multi-media elements in a single location  – timelines, maps, stories, conference talks, videos, etc. Similar to what has been done with the LDS Youth Site - there are other curriculum guides, training materials, etc that need updating. Of course paper based copies and related accommodations should be provided for those parts of the world still developing, but as a whole, there needs to be more opportunities for multi-modal, multi-media learning

2) Illuminate more connections - patterns admist the curricular materials - the standard works, (Old, New, BOM, DC, PGP), individual scriptures/themes, conference talks, BYU devotionals, Ensign articles, programs (Faith in God, Personal Progress, Seminary Doctrinal Principals, etc)

3) Incorporate more innovative, invitations to act (Elder Bednar). Every lesson should include a way for the learners to practice/apply the principals studied during the lesson (know and do - testimony and conversion)

4) Inspire members to be better record keepers. Curriculum should consistently provide opportunities for members to 'recognize, respond, record, and apply’ spiritual impressions (Elder Scott). Just as we advise members to bring their scriptures our lessons should also have activities where a journal, notebook, technological device, etc would be needed. Our Sunday meetings provide wonderful opportunities to practice pondering the voice of the Spirit  (Pres. Faust)
